Arora Boheme

Artsy, upcycled antique furniture, interior decorating supplies & quirky gifts with a vintage vibe.

Arora Boheme has been a part of the Atwater Village community since 2013. I stumbled upon this charming, unique store while trying to find a birthday gift for a friend. With its distinct bohemian style and contemporary art pieces, I knew I had found the right place.

This expertly curated boutique is home to one of a kind home decor, accessories, gift items, and apothecary from artisans all over the globe. The displays are filled with Annie Sloan chalk paint, fashion and costume jewelry, vintage clothing, and retro home decor. What make this store stand out is the DIY section where they sell a paint line for furniture and wall effects, that require no sanding or priming and adheres to most surfaces. Also, they are host to a variety of creative workshops,
from painting to flower art to decoupage. These are both fun and informative and I encourage anyone in the area to check one out!

Krissy Arora is the passionate force behind Arora Boheme. She credits her creative, eclectic esthetic to both of her parents who originate from India and Guatemala.  Krissy has always been mesmerized by the rich, bold colors associated with her parent’s cultures. After receiving a marketing degree and gaining experience in the cosmetology and fashion industry, she decided it was time to go out on her own. Luckily, for the community of Atwater Village, she  combined her knowledge and passion and opened up Arora Boheme.
